O Deep n'Soul Project tem o prazer de anunciar que chegámos a acordo com a presitigiada Web Radio Canadiana Style Network FM para mudar o formato do nosso Show habitual. A partir da passada Segunda Feira, o nosso programa passa a ser em directo, em vez de Pré Gravado, como sempre aconteceu. O dia do programa passa também de Domingo para Segunda Feira, mudando também o nome do programa que passa a intitular-se "Monday Moods" e continuará a ser conduzido por Carlos Vargas nos pratos e Jay Soul na guitarra. Este é um grande passo para o Deep n'Soul Project, que passa a ter um programa em directo numa das mais requisitadas e conceituadas Web Radios Mundiais, que tem no seu schedule de transmissão Shows de nomes como GoGo Music, Defected, Dimitri from Paris, Marc Cotterel, SoulBasics, Karizma, BarGrooves e muitos outros. The Deep n'Soul Project proudly announces that we have reached an agreement with the Canadian Style Network FM to change the format of their regular Show. We will now be Live, instead of a Pre-recorded, and the Show Day will go from Sunday to Monday, from 22:00 / 00:00 (gmt). This is a big step for us, as Style Network is one of the top World Web Radios, featuring Shows with big names like GoGo Music, Defected, Dimitri from Paris, Marc Cotterel, SoulBasics, Karizma, BarGrooves and many more. O Deep n'Soul Project vai estar no próximo dia 28 de Abril no Be Bop Caffe em Montemor-o-velho, para mais uma noite de glamour e boa música que como é habitual, irá estar a cargo de Dj Carlos Vargas e Jay Soul (guitarra), esperando-se mais uma grande noite nesta nossa segunda aparição neste fantástico espaço.

Caras bonitas, muito glamour e um decor magnífico e original ficam como a marca registado deste espaço, que prova que para se ter um grande ambiente, não é necessário estar nos grandes centros. O trabalho do gerente Mário Bessa e o seu magnífico staff não deixa ninguém indifeente e por isso mesmo convidamos todos aqueles que apreciam o nosso trabalho a não perderem esta noite.

The Deep n'Soul Project will be at Be Bop Caffe in the next 28th of April. This will be our 2nd appearance as Monthly residents in this glamorous venue. Like usual, the music will be in charge of Dj Carlos Vargas, alongside with Jay Soul on the guitar.

Beutiful faces, glamour and a unique and original decor are the trademark of this venue, prooving that you dont need to be in a big city to mark your position in the market. The work of the venue maneger Mário Bessa and his excellent staff speaks for itself, warranting a unique enviroment ideal to chill out from the week and dance.

Deep n'Soul Project @ Zeitgeist Caffe (REVIEW)

Foi uma noite memorável aquela que aconteceu no passado dia 13 Abril no Zeitgeist caffe, residência semanal do Deep n'Soul Project pela mão de Carlos Vargas. O convidado especial era nada mais nada menos que Jay Soul, colega e mentor do Deep n'Soul Project. Numa casa completamente cheia, dentro e fora do bar, as sonoridades soul, deep e Dsico tomaram conta da noite, enquanto Jay Soul ia deliciando todos os presentes com autênticos recitais de guitarra. A festa durou até ás 5 da manhã, sempre com um ambiente descontraido e de grande cumplicidade.

Lá fora, numa das mais movimentadas ruas da noite da Figueira da Foz centanas de pessoas conversavam e bebiam ao som da música que vinha do bar, causando um ambiente indescritível por palavras. Numa casa única na Figueira da Foz e talvez na zona centro do país, a música ditou leis e o Deep n'Soul Project marcou pontos com a sua qualidade. Esperam-se mais noites assim, com Carlos Vargas a ter já agendadas as presenças de mais convidados.

It was a memorable night that happened in the last 13 fo April mat Zeitgeist Caffe. The usual Deep n'Soul Project residence, hosted by our very own Dj Carlos Vargas had the presence of his friend and partner in crime Jay Soul in the guitar. In a full venue, inside and outside the bar people gathered to hear the deep, soul & Disco tunes, combined with the most versatil and beutiful guitar rythms and solos of Jay Soul. The night lasted untill five in the morning, with all the presents witnessing a session of quality House music.

Zeitgeist Caffe, one of the most echletic and stylish venues of Portugal, heard the latest musical tendencies while the Deep n'Soul Project added more points to their curriculum. More nights like this are awaited, while Carlos Vargas already had booked more friends appearances. Outside, near the bar, in the most wanted night street of town, everyone was talking and drinking at the sound that camed from inside Zeitgeist Caffe, creating an nviroment of pure inthimicy.

O Deep n'Soul Project decidiu terminar a colaboração que mantinha já há 5 meses com a Web Radio Britânica Soul Connection FM. Esta decisão foi tomada devido á falta de tempo da parte do nosso Dj Carlos Vargas, anfitrião do programa. O programa das Segundas feiras fica offline com efeito imediato.

The Deep n'Soul Project have decided to terminate the cooperation with Soul Connection FM, that was lasting for 5 months. This decision was taken mostly due to schedulle reasons of the show host, our dj Carlos Vargas. The "Soulful vibes" show is from now on offline.

Deep n'Soul Project: Jammin EP em fase de conclusão

COMUNICADO DEEP n'SOUL PROJECT:

O tema original do EP "Jammin", primeira produção do Deep n'Soul Project, encontra-se quase pronta, estando apenas neste momento a ser ultimados pormenores relativos a arranjos. Em breve iniciaremos o processo de masterização, o qual pensamos poder estar pronto muito em breve. De seguida iremos criar duas remisturas, uma mais virada para a pista e uma outra feita por um Dj de renome internacional, que por razões óbvias não podemos ainda divulgar o nome.

"Jammin" é uma amálgama de sonoridades, no qual se destaca uma clara tendência para o Soul/disco dos anos 70, com grandes influências de nomes como Earth, Wind & Fire ou Aretha Franklin, por exemplo. Já com algumas editoras interessadas em ver o produto final, esperamos que este trabalho consiga atingir o nível a que nos propusémos, ao mesmo tempo que tentaremos ao máximo manter as nossas raízes musicais, de forma a agradarmos a todos aqueles que já conhecem o nosso trabalho. Estamos ansiosos para que possam ouvir, ficando aqui a promessa que actualizaremos aqui todas as noticias relativas ao trabalho.

The main mix of "Jammin EP", our first official production, is currently in a conclusion phase, with the final arrangements and mastering as the only things missing. Alongside with the main mix, we will add 2 more remixes, one for the dancefloor and other one made by a well known international Dj.

"Jammin" will be a mixture of Soul/Disco sounds, with big influences in names like Earth, Wind & Fire or Aretha Franklin, for instance. Already with some labels interested in listening the final product, we hope that this work can fullfield the level that we demand to ourselfs, to make it enjoyable to everyone who already know the Deep n'Soul Project work and style. We are really ansious to show the work to everyone, and we will update you all with breakings news here at our site.
