Deep & Soul Sessions @ SSRadio [25th May Show]

O nosso segundo Radioshow, "Deep & Soul Sessions", transmitido pela Británica SSRadio, está já disponivel para Download no oficial da Rádio. Relativo ao dia 25 Maio, este programa inclui na primeira hora um SET ao vivo do Deep & Soul Project, em formato House Band, com a participação do Dj Carlos Vargas, do Saxofonista Naná Sousa Dias e o Percussionista João Ferreira,seguindo-se depois um Dj Set de Carlos Vargas.

Com 50 anos, Naná Sousa Dias é indiscutivelmente, um dos mais carismáticos e renomados saxofonistas Portugueses, tendo já colaborado com alguns dos melhores Artistas Nacionais, como Rui Veloso, Paulo Carvalho ou Bernardo Sassetti, por exemplo e Internacionais, como Freddy Hubbard ou Ivan Lins, entre muitos outros. Já João Ferreira, um dos melhores percussionistas do nosso país, trabalhou durante 14 anos com a Diva Dulce Pontes, estando neste momento a trabalhar como Free Lancer, estando também integrado em vários projectos de qualidade.

Our "Deep & Soul Sessions" Radioshow is already available for grab on SSRadio Site. This Show features a LIVE Deep & Soul Project HOUSE Band Set with our Dj Carlos Vargas and the special guests Nana Sousa Dias, on the saxophone and the percussionist João Ferreira on the first hour and a Carlos Vargas DJ Set on the second hour.

Naná Sousa Dias, with 50 years old, is one of the most carismathic Saxofonists in Portugal, having worked with all top portuguese musicians like Rui Veloso, Paulo Carvalho, Bernardo Sassetti, just to name a few and foreign musicians like Freddy Hubbard or Ivan Lins while João Ferreira worked with Portuguese Diva Dulce Pontes for 14 Years, working now as free Lance percussionist with the best Portuguese Artists.

Just a note to remember you that although this show is aired on the 25th May, it will remain available for grab in Podcast Format and on the site, at any time.

The Deep & Soul Project Single ‘’This Light (we’ve seen)’’ continues to get heavy rotation around Europe. Now the prestigious compilation Djzone includes the track on it’s latest selection vol. 19, alongside tracks from artists like DJ Tekin, Kwality Control, Andy Holder, Spiritual Blessing and Rulers of the Deep amongst others.

The Djzone vol. 19 compilation contains a selection of the most important tracks of 2009 falling under the deep & soulful genre, all of tracks are DJ friendly so don’t miss it.

The CD is being sold in all retail stores as well as in digital format, unfortunately not in Portugal. However the track is available digitally online at Juno, Amazon or Traxsource amongst others.

Deep & Soul Project || New Radio Show @ SSRadio UK

A SSRadio UK, a mais respeitada e conhecida Web Radio do Mundo, conta a partir do passado dia 11 Maio, com mais um Show na sua grelha de programação. As "Deep & Soul Sessions" irão para o Ar numa base Bi-Mensal, ao lado de alguns dos mais respeitados nomes da House Scene.

Tendo como anfitrião o Dj Carlos Vargas, este programa terá a duração de 2 horas e mostrará em primeira mão novos Temas, Sets ao vivo e claro as escolhas musicais do projecto. Além de poderem ser ouvidos no SITE, todos os programas estarão também disponiveis em Podcast, para permitir que estejam sempre acessiveis e prontos a descarregar.

O primeiro programa foi já para o Ar, tendo na sua primeira Semana de "Airing" atingido o "Top 5" Semanal da Rádio. Ficamos á espera da vossa visita.

We are happy to announce that we are currently brodcasting our official Radio Show "Deep & Soul Sessions" on SSRadio UK. The Show started last Monday, 11 of May and will be Aired from now on in a bi-Monthly base.

With the host DJ Carlos Vargas, this program will last 2 hours and will show at first hand new themes, Live Sets and the musical choices of the project and it can be heard in the SSRadio UK site, all programs are also available in podcast, to allow are always shared and ready to unload.

O evento reuniu clientes, amigos, colaboradores e figuras públicas e ofereceu a todos os presentes momentos únicos com a actuação de Helena Madeira e Ricardo Pedro. O ambiente musical foi criado pelo colectivo musical Deep & Soul Project e pela performance do Dj Carlos Vargas.

A Hora Zero é a empresa responsável pela organização e produção de muitos dos eventos de marcas como, Jameson, Absolut Vodka, Ballantine’s, Chivas Regal, entre muitas outras, que não quiseram deixar de se associar a um aniversário tão especial…

Hora Zero – Production & Events celebrated on the past 10 may their 7th anniversary in Spazio dual, one of the most elegant and sophisticated venues in Lisbon.

The event brought together customers, friends, co-workers and public figures and offered to all present unique moments with performances from the singer Helena Madeira and Ricardo Pedro. The musical environment was created by musical collective Deep & Soul project and the performance of DJ Carlos Vargas.

Time zero is the company responsible for organising and producing o many events for brands as Jameson, Absolut Vodka, Ballantines, Chivas Regal, among many others.

Incluida num pacote de promoção para a WMC 2009, o tema do Deep & Soul Project surge ao lado de mais 7 projectos da Editora de Milão, estando já á venda nas principais lojas digitais. O Disco original tem release previsto para Julho, estando neste momento a serem finalizadas uma série de remisturas que serão incluidas no produto final.

The Deep & Soul Project single "This Light (we've seen) was included in the Miami Sampler of the Italian Gotta Keep Faith Records for 2009. Alongside with 8 more tracks that are a preview of the main projects of the Milan Label for this year.

The record will be out only in July, but you can already find this promo single for sale in all main stores online.
