Vencedor do "Uptown Records Dj Contest" em 2002, recebeu das mãos de Paul Farris, da Uptown Records a possibilidade de gravar 50 Demos masterizadas num estúdio profissional. Começou a sua carreira em 1993, conquistando entretanto várias residências em Inglaterra. Destacamos as residências no Cafe en Seine, West Side Bar e também no ATOC(A Touch Of Class), considerado pela conceituada revista MixMag como uma das melhores noites britânicas.
Actualmente podemos regularmente encontrar Mark Anderson de norte a sul de Inglaterra. Mark tem actualmente uma residência no prestigiado After Dark Club, em Edimburgo e também em clubs na Polónia, República Checa e Ilhas Gregas, por isso tenham este nome em atenção. Mark has been forging strong links in the djing community since 1994 and went on to hold numerous residencies in Peterborough. With Bungalow @ Cafe en Seine, Friday Funkshun @ West Side Bar and ATOC (A Touch of Class) which was ranked 19th out of 75 in a top nights out in a UK poll in Mixmag.
Moving on in time and in 2002 Mark entered the 'Uptown Records' mix competition and won. The competition was open to anyone who wanted to send an hour mix of their tunes. Fighting off stiff competition, Paul Farris of Uptown records and FourFour promotions presented Mark with the prize of 50 professionally mastered demo CD's in July 2002.
More recently Mark currently hosts his weekly radio show on Soul Connection FM whilst regularly updating his website, www.deepdistraction.com with more fantastic reviews, mixes, charts, interviews and more.
You can catch Mark live in clubs up and down the UK and abroad on a regular basis. With regular plays at AfterDARK in Edinburgh and visits to the Czech Republic, Poland and the Greek Islands under his belt, keep your eye out for this man!
